AGT- Generator fitted on 75 National
Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) Lifeboats

All 75 British Royal National Lifeboat Institution RNLI “Severn“ and Trent“ Class lifeboats have been fitted with at Panda AGT 4.000/24 volt battery-charging generator since 1997. These units run constantly, monitoring and charging the 24-volt shipboard circuit, as long as the cruiser is operating.

The greatest demands are placed on these vessels. After undergoing rigid tests the RNLI decided to fit all cruisers with Fischer Panda generators. The generators functioned "fault free" for the first four years after fitting. This is further evidence of the reliability and quality of Fischer Panda generators.

The Panda AGT Generator produces a DC-AC Power Management, which is flexible and intelligent and meets the power requirements. The generator running time is reduced to a minimum by means of automatic control. Running time efficiency is often increased by more than 70 %. The noise, energy saving and ecological aspects are good reasons for making use of the DC-AC System.
