METS 2015 - Two Fischer Panda world premiere on the most important marine equipment tradeshow

World premiere for a new Fischer Panda diesel engine and a new generator control.

Attention - This page is more than 3 years old.

Fischer Panda attended the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) in Amsterdam from 17.-19.11.2015. As in the last couple of years, the show was very successful for us.

Along with the famous, very quiet and compact inverter-class generators (which distinguish themselves thanks to their variable and thus environmentally friendly engine regulation), Fischer Panda also presented its own diesel engine and a new innovative control.

Fischer has spend the last two years developing its own diesel engine. This means Fischer Panda is able to offer a water-cooled 4kW marine Generator with the required exhaust certification in the future. The new FPE320 engine supplies enough energy to drive a 4kW generator. The certification for the US –Market is currently being prepared. In comparison with other diesel engines in its class, the FPE320 is fitted with its own oil filter.

The Fischer Panda asynchronous generators, which have been built for more than twenty years, will be fitted with the new xControl-regulation in the future. The xControl highlights using components from the automobile industry, a simple and quick installation as well as the new SAE J1939 communication interface. The whole package is completed with an intuitive control interface and different configuration possibilities including error memory.

The newly designed Fischer Panda “EasyBox” electric drive systems were also of great interest. These are available with either single or dual drives for the 10 to 20 kW performance class. Furthermore, the drives are available as shaft, underwater podded or parallel versions to suit the boat’s design. A modular and flexible system design allows for extremely lightweight and economical installations to be achieved. You can learn more about the electric drive systems on
