Besides its two 133 kW diesel engines, Fischer Panda has recently fitted this boat with 2 x 20 kW electric motors to serve as a parallel hybrid drive system. The boat is 22.5 metres long and has a weight of approx. 25 tons.

Each engine and electric motor is individually coupled with the shaft. Thanks to the pulley configuration the optimal operating point of the propeller can be found and thus, the highest efficiency is achieved.

The electric motors meet all essential requirements of the applicable European directives and standards. They are operated with very low voltages of <60 V DC and guarantee maximum safety regarding operation and installation.

The brushless and water-cooled motors feature permanent magnet technology. Thanks to their aluminium housing there is a very good thermal conductivity. Their high torque ensure a very good manoeuvrability

The electric drive has a dedicated battery bank, which could also be used for onboard power supply, if required.

The boat runs at the following speeds:

• 2 x Diesel engines, 133 kW at max. 17 knots
• 2 x 15 kW (electric motors) at max 8.1 knots
• 2 x 5 kW (electric motor) at 6.0 knots

The boat is equipped with 6 x LFP Batteries 280 Ah. The 5 kW solar panels can be used for charging the batteries and for driving the boat.

Its two propellers are 27“ x 29.5“.
